China helps upgrade hospital in northern Laos

Medical facilities are an important part of Laos' infrastructure and the project demonstrated China's strong support to help improve Lao people's livelihood and the profound friendship of the Chinese to the Lao people, said Lao Minister of Health Bounfeng Phoummalaysith.
VIENTIANE, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Saturday for the upgrading and renovation project of Luang Prabang hospital aided by China in the north of Laos.
